Chronology of the Club’s Major Improvements
The New Castle 100 Archers Club was established as a Delaware Corporation.
The club purchased their present 13 acre location.
The original clubhouse was destroyed in a fire.
Ten foot addition for restrooms was constructed.
Construction of indoor range began.
Indoor range officially open for use – the largest in the state and surrounding areas.
Covered Pavilion Added to the Outdoor Practice Range
Pole Barn constructed to store maintenance equipment, supplies and targets.

Archery has one of the lowest injury rates with a 0.57 injury rate per 1,000 participants, ranking safer than golf, tennis and fishing, according to the 2017 National Electronic Injury Surveillance System. Archery is for anyone who wants to participate. Whether the goal is to get out and socialize, become active, or to make a U.S. Olympic, Paralympic or World Championship Team, archery is a sport that lends itself to any ability, age or skill level. Archery is also one of the most inclusive and equitable team sports available.
